Crikey, No likey!!!

There are hearts just about everywhere and more than a few white-knuckled lads dithering around the cuddly toys in town wondering if they can pluck up the courage to buy one - must mean that Valentine's Day is almost here.
OK, so there are the inevitable grumbles that come with it, most  blaming the Card Shops or indeed, the Americans, for creating & then cashing in on a load of nonsense, but there are some romantics out there so we'd better do our bit for the slushy ones... here's a cute little cupid, awwwww.

In typical fashion this Wednesday, Graham Daniel (always a sucker for a novelty) helped to get you in the spirit of it with his very own version of 'Take Me Out'. Now there was a bit of confusion and a couple of technical issues with the fancy lamps, but it all added to a hilarious game of modern 'Blind Date.'

NO LIKEY, NO LIGHTY

Guy one, proclaiming to be a Fire Man, did absolutely nothing for our girls because, even in spite of being greased with baby oil and flexing his muscles for the excited masses on the dance floor, all the lights went off. Fireman Sam could only hang his head and skulk off into the crowd.
Guy number 2 I don't remember much, so I reckon he probably didn't last too long.
But Guy 3 had the desired effect and eventually ended up with a date who he proceeded to get 'familiar' with right away!

STEADY ON!
The couple have won a romantic dinner for 2 at Exmouth's new fab bar, The Grapevine. What they'll think of each other, we don't know, but we'll post the gist of it on the blog next week.

Also on Wednesday we had a special shout out to long serving staff member and Exmouth legend Daniel Burns. Sadly he bottled out of 'Take me Out' but he was still willing to strut his stuff on the dance floor after a few sherbets. Happy Birthday Dan. Hope you had a brilliant night... I know we did...

Happy Birthday Dan!

Sam Zimmerman went  down a storm again Friday night. The dance floor was packed all night - his tunes were obviously encouraging them to work up a sweat....

Another busy Saturday with Resident DJ Graham Daniel. We had them all in this week, from Tuxedos to Life Guards. What a buzz all night and Qube was busy too. Some of you are really taking advantage of our Double-Up on Smirnoff for just a £1 !!! (Offer exclusive to Qube).

And my favourites are the smug ones. The ones who've learnt already that instead of standing in a long queue, for 2 hours between 11pm- 1am the Qube door is open so you can get in that way. No waiting. No Queue. No Fuss.
We regret though that we cannot take coats etc upstairs as the kiosk isn't open at the end of the night for these items to be collected. Even so, it's little hassle to use the cloakroom downstairs.

Don't forget to join in our Valentine's Day fun game - the winner of which will be announced on this blog next week. Tag 'Qube Exmouth' in your cuttest couple photo for your chance to win. It doesn't have to be a picture of you, it can be friends/relatives, but if the tag is unwanted and gets removed, the photo will not be considered. Our favourite picture of all will win the couple in it a special prize!

Happy Valentine's to you all! x
